Lisbon Fairs
Lisbon Fairs
Colourful and full of animation, they are a stage of lives and stories of the city
Those in the city that are looking for fairs, looking for shopping at prices more suited to their wallet, or in the hope of finding some small treasures. Some people just want to enjoy the good mood, the laughter and conversations that echo simultaneously or from the musicality associated with the sellers' cries.
Lisbon has two ancient fairs that are part of the living tradition of the city: Feira da Ladra (Flee Market) and Feira da Luz. The first has roots dating back to the 12th century. And the second is linked to the traditional religious feasts of Our Lady of Light.
Currently, there are other fairs, some specialized ones.
